What makes an expense tracker truly offline?
An offline expense tracker should keep its working records on the device, function without a developer account, and avoid sending transaction details to an analytics or advertising system. X Money Ledger follows that model: the transactions, categories, budgets, account labels, and notes you enter remain in local app storage.
This is manual personal record-keeping, not open banking. The app does not connect to financial institutions, import card activity, hold funds, initiate payments, or provide financial advice. You decide what to record and can verify every entry yourself.

No bank connection
The app never asks for banking credentials and cannot move money. You enter and organize the records that matter to you.
No automatic cloud sync
Your working ledger remains in private app storage on the device. Moving data is an explicit backup export and restore action.
No ads or analytics
There are no advertising SDKs, behavioral profiles, analytics events, or cross-app tracking systems inside the app.

- Export when you choose.Create a backup or CSV only when you deliberately want a copy outside the app.

Your backup is an action, not a background promise.
X Money Ledger does not silently upload a copy to a developer server. When you need to move devices or retain a backup, use the export command and choose the destination in the operating system's share sheet. Restoring also begins with a file you select. Read the complete backup and deletion guidebefore removing the app or changing devices.
